Apr. 3—About 19 hours before scheduled kickoff, the CAA announced that Saturday’s football game between UNH and host Rhode Island was postponed because of COVID-related protocols within the UNH program.

The postponement brings the Wildcats’ number of missed games to three. They have played once — March 5, a home loss to Albany — since starting their spring season.

No announcement was made regarding UNH’s next scheduled game, Saturday, April 10, at home against Stony Brook.
